Pujari is the mech71er with the largest family. He lives in Kuwait. Here is what HS Gill reports on a part of the reunion Last week I promised a report on a second New Jersey Turnpike event, that took place on Saturday July 1, starring Pimp. However, what deserves top billing is the main event of the reunion - the preceding banquet at Sikh’s. Rumors had started circulating on Saturday morning that Pimp may be attending the evening's dinner at the residence of Deepak and Melanie Sukh. We were assembling in the Hotel's foyer before walking over to the pier where the boat was docked. Quite a large crowd was gathering including many from the younger generation. Sixty’s and DK's sons, Sikh’s son and daughter, and of course Sabrina, had decided to put up with their numerous uncles and aunties. Mal and all, You can see a picture of me and Gulla working out the finer nuances of the forthcoming reunion The reunion is very much on. Anybody who shows up as a surprise visitor besides those who have confirmed will be very very welcome. Some will reach the hotel on Friday evening and call me up. We will all go out for the night. Saturday 11 am we will start boarding the cruise along the Hudson past landmarks( or should I say rivermarks) like the statue of Liberty for lunch. As Deepak Sukh will also be on the cruise we might drive down to his house immideately after the cruise. We exchange notes about our present and past have dinner there. Sunday, we take a ferry across the Hudson to Manhattan, then a NYWaterway Ferry shuttle to Salaam Bombay for brunch. The Times of India November 3, 2005 UNITED NATIONS: McKinsey's Rajat Gupta has been appointed special advisor on reforms to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan in a post specially carved after charges of graft in the UN-administered oil for food programme for Iraq. The Kolkata-born Indian American, who serves as a senior partner with the global consultancy major, will ensure that the overall management reform programme of the UN is in line with best global practices, it was announced here on Wednesday. As a personal adviser to the secretary general, Gupta will provide focused and specialist assistance on key issues of concern. He will also participate in the deputy secretary general's post-summit coordination committee. He will get a token remuneration of a dollar a year.
